Betty Boop: I’ll Be Glad When You’re Dead
October 24th, 2007 |Betty and her pals are out exploring the wilds of a jungle when some of the locals take them hostage, and decide to make a tasty meal out of Betty. Music in this cartoon is from Louis Armstrong and his band. Louis menaces Betty’s friends who managed to escape, but can’t get rid of the giant head following them through the jungle. This film was created far before political correctness, as some unflattering stereotypical caricatures of the band appear later in the cartoon. The nasty natives die in a hail of molten magma, and the white invaders go back to their cozy homes. The End.
