Letter From Bataan

October 10th, 2007 |

Unlike today, where gas-guzzling SUV’s shuttle chatty cellphone users to the nearest Starbucks, back in WWII everyone was expected to do their part for the war effort. In this movie, a soldier fighting on Bataan writes home to tell everyone how bad it is- not the war, but the lack of supplies to fight the war. The civilians all agree to do their part and conserve more, but it may already be too late.
