This is a super-condensed edit of “Spooks Run Wild.” The original film ran more than one hour, but this version runs just over 11 minutes, while keeping the spirit of the original. the East Side Kids (aka The Bowery Boys) get into trouble and are sent off to a ranch in the country. Coincidentally, the “Monster-killer” is loose in the same area. A spooky Bela Lugosi lets the gang stay overnight at his home, where everyone learns appearances are not as they seem.
