At the dawn of the space-age, scientists were pretty sure one day they would be able to send a man into space, and have him come back alive. Pretty sure but not positive; so to test out their ideas they used cute little, highly-trained chimps. This movie introduces us to the days before manned spaceflight, when the chimp, who was trained to push buttons for water & treats, was blissfully unaware of how close he came to being incinerated high above his home planet.
