Come and see the glory of our post-war capitol of Washington D.C. circa 1950. It’s a beauty, in this movie designed to make Americans and foreigners alike visit the halls of power that run the good ‘ol US of A. As a bonus, the film is narrated by the ghost of the first, long-dead president, George Washington.

Betty Boop: Minnie the Moocher

October 8th, 2007 |

Betty Boop is forced to eat German food by her parents, so she decides to run away instead. Darkness falls quickly, and she takes shelter in a cave, which is haunted by Cab Calloway. Cab sings a mice song, and the music is slammin’ but the scary ghosts prove too much for Betty, so she runs back home, only to become enslaved to a life of sauerkraut and sausage. This film premiered March 11, 1932.

Here’s a game to play called Minnie the Moocher, it’s a low down hootchy-kootcher (at Ziptrivia.com).
