Alaska, Land of the Midnight Sun, where the land is being developed by hard-working settlers. This historic film from 1948 shows the territory 11 years before becoming a state in 1959. The film was later revised after Alaska joined the union so children everywhere could learn about their friends to the north.

Why even back then things were pretty hoppin’ with Fairbanks having stores, theaters and paved roads too. Maybe some day a boy or girl could grow up in Alaska and become president (or vice president.)

Those commie bastards. They’re coming around with their system of government code-named ‘ISM’ in this 1940’s animated civics lesson. The slick huckster is pushing ‘ISM’ on everyone, and they almost accept, were it not for John. Q. Public, a red-blooded American who explains the obvious superiority of the capitalist system, with it’s superior banking system, free enterprise and minimal government interference with citizen lives.

Wieners, coldcuts and liverwurst are all delicious in their own way, but much like music, they need subtle touches of artistry, a varied palette, and some dedicated team members to bring out the best in them. Wow, this movie just happens to have all those things, and a parade to boot!

Get ready to watch hotdogs being made, and songs being played.

The ancient protector of all that is right in the world, ‘Hercubush,’ faces a menace that only he can overcome, a lack of oil to keep the sheen on his muscular torso. Not only his torso, but that of all his matte countrymen too. Now when can he possibly secure a steady supply of oil…?
