When Mom tells the kids that there won’t be any turkey this Thanksgiving, the family pulls together and realizes there’s more to be thankful for than just dead birds. Each family member counts their blessings, and realizes just how lucky they truly are to be living in freedom, (Cold war speak for America), where they can do and achieve anything (with or without turkey).
